The American Silver Eagle Coin is released annually by the United States Mint. While the Proof and Burnished versions come in individual packaging, the Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) Eagles are packaged in bulk and offered by retailers with plastic flips. These 2025 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and sealed in plastic. Each coin and its packaging are enclosed within custom cards that feature a version of the American flag, complete with its iconic stars and stripes.
Obverse
On the obverse side of the 2025 American Eagle Silver Coin, you will find a depiction of Lady Liberty. This design, known as Walking Liberty, was created in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman and was used on the US Half Dollar from 1916 to 1947. The inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, Weinman’s AW signature mark, and 2025.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2025 Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin displays an image of an American bald eagle. Designed by Emily Damstra in 2020, this artwork shows the eagle soaring into view with an oak branch in its talons. Inscriptions here include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER.
History
The American flag has undergone numerous transformations since its inception in 1777, representing the nation’s growth and evolution. The original design featured 13 stripes and stars representing the original colonies, but as new states joined the Union, the flag adapted accordingly. From the 15-star, 15-stripe flag that inspired Francis Scott Key to write “The Star-Spangled Banner” in 1814, to more modern iterations, each change marked a significant milestone in American history.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
