Obverse
On the obverse of the 2025 American Eagle Silver Coin, Lady Liberty walks confidently, wrapped in the American flag. In her left hand, she holds olive branches, symbolizing peace, while rays of sunlight illuminate her from behind, reinforcing the coins themes of liberty and optimism. The inscriptions here read LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, Weinman’s AW signature mark, and 2025.
Reverse
The reverse side of the 2025 Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin features a magnificent image of a bald eagle with wings outstretched. Gripping an oak branch, the eagle symbolizes the enduring strength and freedom of the United States. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, 1 OZ FINE SILVER, and ONE DOLLAR.
History
Adolph A. Weinmans Walking Liberty design remains one of the most recognized and cherished symbols of American liberty. First introduced in 1916 on U.S. half dollars, this design was revived in 1986 for the American Silver Eagle program. The design continues to resonate with collectors for its depiction of strength, freedom, and hope.
