A foam inset holds the coin securely, and the case is presented in a themed shipper with honey bee artwork. The coin is issued with a Certificate of Authenticity and features an antique finish and a reverse that has been selectively colorized.

Obverse

The obverse of the 2025 Antique Colorized Australian Honey Bee Silver Coin displays a portrait of King Charles III. This design by Dan Thorne shows the King in left-profile relief without a crown. It is the first official portrait of King Charles III featured on Australian coins from the Perth Mint. Inscriptions include CHARLES III, AUSTRALIA, and 2 DOLLARS.

Reverse

The reverse side of the 2025 Antique Colorized Honey Bee 2 oz Silver Coin features bees pollinating flowers. The background includes a beehive, and three bees are shown gathering nectar from blossoms. The largest flower in the foreground is highlighted with color, bringing focus to the bees at work. History

A honey bee colony works together like a well-organized team.
