History

The original Ferris wheel was a massive structure standing 264 feet tall with 36 cars, each capable of holding up to 60 people. At the time, it could transport more than 2,000 passengers and offered views across the Chicago fairgrounds. Since then, Ferris wheels have become permanent features in amusement parks and city skylines, now often featuring enclosed cabins and advanced lighting systems.
