The 2025 Australian Lunar Snake 1 oz Silver Coins are available in several formats. Choose from individual acrylic capsules, sealed rolls of 20 coins, or mint-strapped boxes containing 100 coins each. Each box holds five rolls. All coins are Brilliant Uncirculated specimens and feature a micro-engraved security mark on the reverse.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2025 Australian Lunar Snake Silver Coins displays a bust of King Charles III, designed by Dan Thorne. This is the first time a monarch other than Elizabeth II appears on these coins. The inscriptions read CHARLES III, AUSTRALIA, 1 OZ 9999 AG, and 1 DOLLAR.
Reverse
On the reverse of 2025 Lunar Snake 1 oz Silver Coins, you’ll see a coiled snake set against a scenic backdrop with mountains and a river. The snake is shown with its head raised amidst foliage. Inscriptions here read SNAKE, 2025, the P mint mark, and the Chinese emblem for the snake.
History
The Chinese zodiac has deep roots in Chinese culture and mythology, dating back to the Han Dynasty (202 BCE – 220 CE). The snake, the sixth animal in the 12-year cycle, is a symbol of wisdom and mystery.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
