Obverse
The obverse of the 2025 Australian Lunar Snake Silver Coin features a new portrait of King Charles III, marking his debut on the Lunar Series coins. Designed by Dan Thorne in 2024, this left-profile portrait shows the King without a crown, representing a fresh start for the series with a new monarch. Inscriptions on this side include CHARLES III, AUSTRALIA, 2 OZ 9999 AG, and 2 DOLLARS.
Reverse
On the reverse, the 2025 Lunar Snake 2 oz Silver Coin displays a unique design by Sean Rogers, featuring a coiled snake in a lush jungle environment. The design highlights the snake among leaves and branches, set against a scenic background with a river and mountains. Inscriptions here include SNAKE, 2025, the P mint mark, and the Chinese symbol for the snake.
