Obverse
On the obverse of the 2025 British Britannia Gold Coin, youll find King Charles IIIs portrait. Designed by Martin Jennings, this image is the first of King Charles III to appear on British bullion following the end of Queen Elizabeth IIs reign. The left-profile relief shows His Majesty without a crown. Inscriptions include CHARLES III, D.G. REX. F.D., and 10 POUNDS.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2025 Britannia 1/10 oz Gold Coin highlights Britannia. Designed by Nathan, Britannia stands in full view, wearing a Corinthian helmet. She holds a trident in one hand and an olive branch in the other, which rests on her shield bearing the Union Jack. Security features include a latent image, micro-text around Britannia, tincture lines on the shield, and wavy motion lines in the background. The inscriptions on this side read BRITANNIA, 2025, 1/10 OZ, and 999.9 FINE GOLD.
History
The reverse design of the British Gold Britannia was created by Philip Nathan in 1987. Chosen through a design competition, Nathans image of Britannia has become iconic. While Queen Elizabeth II appeared on the coin’s obverse until 2023, King Charles III took her place in 2023 following her passing in 2022.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
