The Gold Maple Leaf series began with the 1 oz coin in 1979, with the 1/4 oz coin joining the lineup in 1982.
Obverse
On the obverse of the 2025 Canadian Maple Leaf Gold Coin, youll find a new portrait of King Charles III. This design was introduced in 2024 by Canadian artist Steven Rosati and features the King in left-profile without a crown. King Charles III is the second monarch, after Queen Elizabeth II, to appear on these coins. Inscriptions here read CHARLES III, 10 DOLLARS, and 2025.
Reverse
The reverse side of the 2025 Maple Leaf 1/4 oz Gold Coin features the sugar maple leaf. This detailed design was crafted by Walter Ott in 1979 and has been a hallmark of the series ever since, capturing the essence of Canadas natural heritage. The inscriptions on this side read CANADA, 9999, FINE GOLD, and 1/4 OZ OR PUR.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
