The Canadian Silver Maple Leaf holds the distinction of being the worlds first coin minted with .9999 pure silver. It maintained its status as the purest silver bullion coin for over 20 years. Today, the Silver Maple Leaf is recognized worldwide as a symbol of Canadas strength in the bullion market. Provident Metals now offers the 2025 Canadian Maple Leaf 1 oz Silver Coins.

Obverse
The obverse of the 2025 Canadian Maple Leaf Silver Coin features the Royal Canadian Mints new image of King Charles III. This portrait was designed by Steven Rosati and first appeared in 2024. In the design, King Charles III is shown in a left-profile relief, without a crown. Inscriptions read CHARLES III, 5 DOLLARS, and 2025.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2025 Maple Leaf 1 oz Silver Coin, youll see the iconic sugar maple leaf. Walter Ott designed this image in 1979, and it has been a staple on all Canadian Maple Leaf bullion coins, including those made of silver, gold, platinum, and palladium. Inscriptions include CANADA, 9999, FINE SILVER, 1 OZ, and ARGENT PUR.
History
The sugar maple leaf has been a cherished emblem of Canada for many generations. The Indigenous peoples of Canada have a long history of using the sugar maple tree (Acer saccharum) for its sweet sap, which they processed into maple syrup and sugar. The unique five-pointed leaf of the sugar maple has become a key element in the artistic and cultural expressions of many First Nations.
