On the obverse of the 2025 Colorized Australian Lunar Snake Gold Coin, you’ll see a portrait of King Charles III. This left-facing image was created by Dan Thorne and shows the King without a crown, in line with the Perth Mints current effigy design. The inscriptions include CHARLES III, AUSTRALIA, 1/10 OZ 9999 AU, and 15 DOLLARS.
Reverse
The reverse of 2025 Colorized Lunar Snake 1/10 oz Gold Coins features a coiled snake resting among bamboo branches. Artist Sean Rogers designed this side, combining natural imagery with the traditional symbolism of the Snake. Its graceful movement and quiet nature represent transformation, strategy, and adaptability in Chinese folklore. Inscriptions here include SNAKE, 2025, the P mint mark, and the symbol for the snake.
