History

Churchill came from a noble background, born to Lord Randolph Churchill and American heiress Jennie Jerome. His early military career took him to Cuba, India, Sudan, and South Africa, where he became famous for escaping captivity during the Boer War. Later in life, Churchill became a respected writer and won the Nobel Prize for Literature. He also painted often and produced hundreds of artworks over his lifetime.
