Pink flamingos are well known for their bright pink appearance, a coloration that develops from the pigments in their food sources, such as algae, small shellfish, and other aquatic life. Across the globe, there are six different types of flamingos. The Greater Flamingo is the most common species overall, while the American Flamingo is most often associated with the vivid coloring people picture when they think of flamingos. Provident Metals now has the 2025 Proof Niue Beauty and Grace Pink Flamingo 1 oz Silver Coin available.
Highlights:
Each 2025 Proof Niue Beauty and Grace Pink Flamingo 1 oz Silver Coin is delivered in a presentation box and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. The packaging includes a specially designed flamingo-themed shipper, and rose-gold plating highlights certain reverse elements. Proof-quality visuals emphasize the designs with frosted details contrasting against mirrored backgrounds.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2025 Proof Niue Beauty and Grace Pink Flamingo Silver Coin presents an official image of King Charles III. This first-generation design by Jody Clark shows His Majesty in left-profile relief, without a crown, and is now widely used on Niues coins. Inscriptions include CHARLES III, NIUE 2025, ONE DOLLAR, and 1 OZ 999 SILVER.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2025 Proof Beauty and Grace Pink Flamingo 1 oz Silver Coin, five flamingos are displayed in their natural setting. Two stand in the water in the foreground, while three are shown in flight above. The flamingos are plated in rose gold, while the water and sun remain in bright silver to create depth and contrast.
History
These birds live in shallow wetlands, coastal lagoons, and lakes around the world. Greater Flamingos can be seen in areas of Africa, Asia, and southern Europe, while American Flamingos are commonly found in the Caribbean, parts of South America, and the Galpagos Islands. Other flamingo species make their habitats in South Americas Andes region and throughout Africa.
