In 2021, the US Mint brought back two legendary silver dollars to mark an important moment in American coinage. That year marked 100 years since the Morgan Dollars final issue and the debut of the Peace Dollar. These two coins were reintroduced as commemorative bullion pieces and have continued to be released, keeping their original designs alive. Obverse
The obverse of the 2025 Peace Dollar Coin shows Liberty facing left. Her hair is mostly gathered in a bun, but several loose strands fall along her face. She wears a crown of rays, giving the design a sense of light and hope that reflects the coins theme. The inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRVST, and 2025.
Reverse
On the reverse of 2025 Peace Dollar Silver Coins, youll find a peaceful image of an American bald eagle. The bird is perched on a rock with its wings down at its sides. Behind it, the sun rises in the distance, casting rays of light around the eagle to complete the design. The inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and PEACE.
History
Anthony de Francisci designed the image of Liberty on the obverse, using his wife, Teresa, as a model. Her youthful features and flowing hair bring a fresh take to the Liberty figure, while the radiant crown she wears stands for light and peace. This design introduced a new look for Liberty compared to earlier US coin designs.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
