The New Zealand Mints Harry Potter Book Cover Series continues with a design inspired by Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, which was first released in 1999. In his second year at Hogwarts, Harry faces an unsettling warning from Dobby the house-elf, cautioning him not to return to school. Upon his arrival, students mysteriously turn to stone, and ominous messages appear on the walls, declaring that the Chamber of Secrets has been reopened. Now, 2025 Proof Colorized Niue Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets 2 oz Silver Coins are available online from Provident Metals.

Throughout the novel, Hogwarts is plagued by strange events, leading Harry to discover that the Chamber of Secrets is hidden within Moaning Myrtles bathroom. Inside, he faces both a massive basilisk and the young memory of Tom Riddle, later revealed to be Lord Voldemort. With the help of Fawkes, Harry defeats the basilisk and destroys Riddles diary using one of the creatures fangs, saving Ginny Weasley and unknowingly freeing Dobby from his servitude to the Malfoy family.
