Kleks Academy is a fantastical school imagined by Polish author Jan Brzechwa in his well-known children’s book series. The academy, run by the unconventional Professor Ambroy Kleks, only accepts boys whose names begin with the letter A. Now, a notable character from the story appears in a silver coin release alongside Philip the Barber on the reverse. Provident Metals is proud to offer the 2025 Proof Colorized Niue Kleks and Philip the Barber’s Invention 17.5 Gram Silver Coins online.
Highlights:
Each 2025 Proof Colorized Niue Kleks and Philip the Barber’s Invention 17.5 Gram Silver Coin is individually housed in a window display box with a themed shipper. A Certificate of Authenticity is included with each coin. These proof coins have frosted details, mirrored backgrounds, and vibrant colorization on the reverse.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2025 Proof Colorized Niue Kleks and Philip the Barber’s Invention Silver Coin features the Public Seal of Niue. The national emblem is positioned at the top of the design, with a large butterfly below it. Additional butterfly silhouettes are also incorporated into the background. The inscriptions read 1 DOLLAR, 2025, AG 999, and PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2025 Proof Colorized Kleks and Philip the Barber’s Invention 17.5 Gram Silver Coin, Philip the Barber is shown in a colorized design. As a key figure in Academy of Mr. Kleks, Philip serves as the academys barber and a companion to Professor Kleks. His peculiar habit of collecting students freckles, shaving them off and storing them in jars, makes him one of the more unusual characters in the story. Inscriptions read KLEKS, I WYNALAZER, and FILIPA GOLARZA.
History
Professor Kleks is an imaginative and eccentric teacher who plays a central role in Brzechwas Academy of Mr. Kleks. The school he runs offers an unconventional curriculum filled with magic and adventure, making it a cherished setting in Polish children’s literature.
