The obverse of the 2025 Proof Falkland Islands King Penguin Silver Coin features a left-profile image of King Charles III. Designed by Glyn Davies, this portrait shows His Majesty without a crown. This effigy is one of the first-generation designs of King Charles III now appearing on coinage throughout the Commonwealth and British Overseas Territories. History
King Penguins are exceptional divers, capable of reaching depths of more than 300 meters while hunting for food. Their diet mainly consists of small fish like lanternfish, as well as squid.
