History
Born in Chicago in 1955, Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost has served in many areas of the Churchs mission work. A member of the Order of Saint Augustine, he spent more than ten years working in Peru, where he focused on helping underserved communities by founding educational and medical programs in remote areas.
