This uncrowned portrait belongs to the first generation of effigies released following his ascension. Jody Clark, who also created the final official portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed this image of King Charles III. Reverse
On the reverse side of the 2025 Proof Judas Iscariot 1 oz Silver Coin, Judas Iscariot is shown standing below a tree, captured in left-profile relief. History
Judas Iscariot is one of the most well-known figures in the Christian story, remembered for his betrayal of Jesus Christ. He served as treasurer for the group of apostles and managed their shared resources. According to the Gospels, Judas pointed Jesus out to Roman officials with a kiss, which led directly to Jesuss arrest and eventual crucifixion.
