Surrounding this image are ten earlier versions of the Mexican seal, representing the nations history and identity over time. The inscriptions include ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS.

Reverse

The reverse of the 2025 Reverse Proof Libertad 2 oz Silver Coin depicts the Winged Victory statue. Shown in three-quarter relief, Winged Victory holds a laurel wreath in her right hand and a broken chain in her left, symbols of freedom and independence. The inscriptions read 2 ONZA, PLATA PURA, 2025 LEY .999, and the mint mark.

History

The 2025 Silver Libertad series is notable for its limited mintages. With no Gold Libertads available and coins like the 2 oz Reverse Proof Silver Libertad produced in especially low numbers, collectors will find this release unique.
