Obverse
The obverse of the 2025 Royal Australian Mint Koala Gold Coin features a left-profile portrait of King Charles III. This design, created by Dan Thorne, is the first official depiction of the king on Australian coins. The portrait shows the king without a crown, maintaining a tradition of simplicity in Australian effigies. The inscriptions include CHARLES III, AUSTRALIA, 2025, and 100 DOLLARS.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2025 RAM Koala 1 oz Gold Coin, a mother koala is perched on a tree branch with her young. These trees are essential to koalas, providing them with food, shelter, and protection from predators. Their natural environment plays a key role in their ability to regulate body temperature, as they seek out taller trees in cooler areas to escape the heat. The inscriptions read KOALA, and 1 OZ .999 AG.
History
Although they appear peaceful, koalas can be quite territorial. Males produce deep vocalizations to establish dominance and attract mates, with their bellows traveling long distances. Female koalas are selective, often favoring males with the strongest calls, which indicate size and strength.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
