The koala is one of Australias most recognizable animals, known for its distinctive appearance and tree-dwelling lifestyle. As a marsupial, the koala carries its young in a pouch, making it a unique species found only in Australia. In 2024, the Royal Australian Mint introduced the Australian Koala bullion series, and now the 2025 Royal Australian Mint Koala 1 oz Silver Coin is available at Provident Metals.

Each 2025 Royal Australian Mint Koala 1 oz Silver Coin is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Individual coins are housed in plastic capsules, while larger quantities are available in rolls of 10 or boxes of 240. The boxes contain 24 sealed rolls.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2025 Royal Australian Mint Koala Silver Coin features King Charles III in a left-profile portrait designed by Dan Thorne. This is the first official effigy of King Charles III used on Australian coins, and it shows him without a crown. The inscriptions read CHARLES III, AUSTRALIA, 2025, and 1 DOLLAR.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2025 RAM Koala 1 oz Silver Coin, a mother koala is depicted sitting on a tree branch with her young joey. Koalas rely on trees not only for food but also for shelter, as they help regulate body temperature and provide protection from predators. Taller trees in cooler areas are especially preferred for their better climate control. Inscriptions here read KOALA and 1 OZ .999 AG.
History
Koalas are known for their slow-paced lifestyle, spending up to 22 hours a day sleeping or resting. This behavior is due to their diet, which consists entirely of eucalyptus leaves. While these leaves are toxic to most animals, koalas have evolved to process them, though their low nutritional value limits the koalas energy levels.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
