Obverse

On the obverse, the 2025-S Proof American Eagle Silver Coin features Adolph A. Weinmans 1916 Walking Liberty image. It shows Liberty walking toward the rising sun, the American flag draped across her shoulders, with her right hand extended forward. The inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, the AW signature mark, and 2025.

Reverse

The reverse of the 2025-S Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin includes Emily Damstras 2021 bald eagle design. The eagle flies with an oak branch in its talons, wings fully spread, and the design includes inscriptions for the nation, weight, purity, and value, plus the S mint mark. The inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, 1 OZ FINE SILVER, and the S mint mark.

History

NGC has created a special Trolley Label for the last Proof Silver Eagles from the San Francisco Mint. These labels highlight the citys cable cars, which still run on three lines and offer a link to San Franciscos past.
