The American Silver Eagle series expanded in 2006 with the introduction of the Burnished Silver Eagle. These coins are made from specially prepared silver blanks that are placed in a rotating drum with tiny metal balls and a polishing solution. The process creates a satin-like surface, giving the coin a soft, smooth finish that appeals to collectors. You can now find 2025-W Burnished American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins in flawless condition at Provident Metals.
Highlights:
These 2025-W Burnished American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins are certified in perfect condition. Specimen Proof 70 coins feature no flaws and full original mint luster. First Strike coins are those received by PCGS for grading within 30 days of the coins release by the U.S. Mint.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2025-W Burnished American Eagle Silver Coin shows Adolph A. Weinmans well-known Walking Liberty artwork. Liberty is shown walking toward the sun, with the American flag draped around her shoulders. She extends her right hand forward and carries oak and laurel branches in her left arm, symbols of strength and peace. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, 2025, and the AW signature mark.
Reverse
On the reverse, the 2025-W Burnished Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin includes a detailed bald eagle design by Emily Damstra. The eagle is captured mid-flight, with wings extended and talons stretched forward as it prepares to land on an oak branch. This design reflects both power and purpose. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ONE DOLLAR, 1 OZ FINE SILVER, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the W mint mark.
History
This reverse artwork debuted in 2021 and was part of an update to the Silver Eagle series. Damstra combined artistic design with careful detail, using the oak branch as a symbol of resilience and independence. The result is a strong and balanced image that honors Americas national spirit.
