Obverse

The obverse of the 2025-W Proof Laser Beam Privy American Eagle Silver Coin displays Adolph A. Weinmans Walking Liberty. First used in 1916, Liberty is shown moving left toward the sun as the American flag drapes over her shoulders. The new laser beam privy mark appears just to the right of Liberty. The inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, 2025, and the AW signature mark.

Reverse

The reverse of the 2025-W Proof Laser Beam Privy Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin highlights the updated bald eagle design that debuted in 2021. Emily Damstras artwork depicts the eagle in flight with wings extended, descending with a large oak branch in its talons. The inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, ONE DOLLAR, and the W mint mark.

History

The Laser Beam Privy Silver Eagle marks the first Proof coin from the US Mint to display a laser-engraved privy mark. The design takes the form of a circle with a concentrated laser burst in the center, giving it a crisp and distinctive appearance.
