Originally introduced in 1986 alongside the Silver Eagle, the Gold Eagle has earned its place as one of the most trusted gold bullion coins. Each 2026 American Eagle 1 oz Gold Tube includes 20 separate coins, each in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. These coins are packaged together in an acrylic tube, offering 20 Troy oz of total gold content. The metal blend includes 91.67% gold, 5.33% copper, and 3% silvertypical for all Gold Eagle coins.
Obverse
The obverse side of 2026 American Eagle Gold Coins features the 1907 image of Liberty designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. First seen on the $20 Double Eagle, this well-known design shows Liberty confidently striding forward, holding a torch and an olive branch. The inscriptions include LIBERTY, 2026, and the ASG signature mark.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2026 Eagle 1 oz Gold Coin displays a left-profile view of a bald eagles head. This image, created by Jennie Norris in 2020 and first used in 2021, captures fine detail and a strong expression that refreshes the series overall design. The inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, IN GOD WE TRUST, 50 DOLLARS, and 1 OZ FINE GOLD.
History
Within the Gold Eagle Series, the 1 oz coin continues to lead the way in yearly mintages. Although the 1/10 oz Gold Eagle holds the highest mintage for a single year, the 1 oz version has consistently topped the charts in more years than any other size, also claiming the next four highest totals.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
