The American Eagle Series reaches a standout moment in 2026 as the United States Mint marks a major anniversary issue. The American Silver Eagle and American Gold Eagle both turn 40, reflecting four decades of steady demand and broad recognition among bullion buyers. Special Occasion Cards make the Silver Eagle easier to present as a gift, offering designs that fit life events and personal wins alike. Today, 2026 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins in Congratulations Cards are available online at Provident Metals.
Highlights:
These 2026 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins are sealed inside cards designed with a congratulatory theme. The card is white with gold streamers and star accents, plus a cluster of white and gold balloons along the left side. Above the coin, the word Congratulations appears in an elegant script style.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2026 American Eagle Silver Coins features the famous Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman. Made in 1916 for the US half dollar, this image shows Liberty moving toward the sun with calm confidence. She wears the folds of the American flag, reaching forward with her right hand as oak and laurel branches rest in her left. The inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 2026.
Reverse
The reverse of 2026 Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins presents Emily Damstras bald eagle design. Introduced in 2020 and first used on the coin in 2021, it shows the eagle gliding downward with its wings raised. Clutched in its talons is an oak branch, adding a traditional symbol to the updated artwork. The inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER.
History
The word congratulations is rooted in the Latin term congratulari, which relates to sharing happiness and offering joy to others. It became part of English in the 15th century as a formal expression used to recognize success or good news. In modern use, it works for major moments like graduations and weddings, as well as smaller accomplishments like a promotion, finishing a hard task, or reaching a personal milestone.
