The Canadian Gold Maple Leaf has been part of the bullion world since 1979 and continues to be one of the most recognized gold coins. The series originally launched with a single 1 oz coin, but today collectors and investors can choose from six different weights each year. The 1 oz coin remains the most widely known, yet smaller options like the 1/10 oz are valued for flexibility. Provident Metals now offers 2026 Canadian Maple Leaf 1/10 oz Gold Sheets.
Highlights:
Each 2026 Canadian Maple Leaf 1/10 oz Gold Sheet comes sealed and holds 40 coins in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. With each coin struck from 1/10 troy ounce of 24-karat gold, the full sheet represents 4 troy ounces of pure gold.
Obverse
The obverse side of the 2026 Canadian Maple Leaf Gold Coin shows King Charles III. Designed by Canadian artist Steven Rosati, the left-profile portrait is an uncrowned image of the king and represents the third time a Canadian artist has created a royal effigy for national coinage. The inscriptions here read CHARLES III, 5 DOLLARS, and 2026.
Reverse
The reverse side of the 2026 Maple Leaf 1/10 oz Gold Coin carries Walter Otts sugar maple leaf design. Introduced with the series in 1979, this image has become one of the most familiar designs in bullion and is featured across gold, silver, platinum, and palladium issues of the Maple Leaf. Inscriptions here read CANADA, 9999, 1/10 OZ, FINE GOLD, and OR PUR.
History
The sugar maple tree is an important symbol in Canada, particularly known for its colorful fall foliage. As summer ends, its leaves take on vivid shades of yellow, orange, and red, creating one of natures most memorable seasonal displays.
