History

Season 4 introduces Vecna, a new and menacing villain whose story is deeply connected to the origins of the Upside Down. The season explores more of Elevens history and the secret experiments conducted at Hawkins Lab. Vecna becomes the central threat as he targets teenagers in Hawkins by preying on their traumatic memories. As the season unfolds, it is revealed that Vecna is Henry Creel, the labs first test subject and the son of Victor Creel, whom Eleven banished to the Upside Down years earlier.
