These 2026 Proof Gibraltar The Queen Elizabeth II 100 Masterpiece 5 oz Silver Coins are presented in a display case and include a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Although Makloufs well-known effigy of Queen Elizabeth II appeared on many circulating coins, this 100 Masterpiece Series features seven original portrait designs that were never used on coinage. Each coin also includes the date of striking engraved on the rim, 21st April 2026, marking the centennial of the Queens birth.
Obverse
On the obverse of the 2026 Proof Gibraltar The Queen Elizabeth II 100 Masterpiece Silver Coin is a portrait of His Majesty King Charles III. As the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II, he is depicted here in left-profile relief without a crown, based on a design by Raphael Maklouf. The inscriptions include CHARLES III, DG REX FD, GIBRALTAR, 2026, and TEN POUNDS.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2026 Proof The Queen Elizabeth II 100 Masterpiece 5 oz Silver Coin displays the royal emblem of Her Late Majesty at the center. Around it are seven original portraits of Queen Elizabeth II created by Maklouf. A sculptor trained in London at St. Martins School of Art, Maklouf is known for his careful detail and balanced designs, which are evident in these portraits. The inscriptions read THE RDM MASTERPIECES, ERII, and THE UNSEEN EFFIGIES.
History
Queen Elizabeth II was born on April 21, 1926, at 17 Bruton Street in Mayfair, London. She was the first child of Prince Albert, Duke of York, and Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon. At the time, her father was not expected to become king, and her future as monarch was uncertain. Her life would later take a different course, leading to a long and historically significant reign.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
