Each of the 25 Gold Florida Goldback Notes available from Provident Metals is a new addition to the Goldback Series. These notes come with their own plastic currency sleeve to help protect the gold. Goldbacks are created by layering thin sheets of 24-karat gold between durable polymer sheets.

Design

The 25 Gold Florida Goldback Note features a young woman gliding through the Everglades in an aluminum boat. Floridas iconic wildlife is also captured in this scene, with a Florida panther watching her from the trees above and an alligator moving through the water beside her boat.

History

The Everglades, often known as the “River of Grass,” is a unique and vital ecosystem located in North America. In the 20th century, conservation became a key priority as development and agricultural projects led to the reduction of the Everglades to about half of its original size. This ecosystem provides critical habitat for endangered species like the Florida panther and American crocodile, and it also acts as a natural water filter and barrier against storm surges.
