Each bar is individually housed in a protective black box. This box has a viewing window on one side so you can see the obverse, while the weight, purity, metal content, and series name are printed on the side of the box. The bars in this new cast silver series offer security holograms on the reverse and serial numbers on the obverse.

Obverse

On the obverse side of 250 Gram Silver Cast Bars is the image of the Germania Mint logo as the primary visual element. The logo is set at the top of the design field and depicts a spade-shaped shield with the double-headed eagle. The seal is topped by a crown and flanked by a large wreath. The inscriptions on this side include GERMANIA MINT, 999.9, FINE SILVER, and 250 g. The bottom of the bar has an individual serial number etched into a stamped space.

Reverse

The reverse field of 250 Gram Silver Cast Bars from the Germania Mint is left blank on purpose. Although the design field is blank on this side, you may notice unique textures and striations. These formed when the silver was settling and cooling in the mold during the production process. However, on this side, you will find that the Germania Mint has applied a hologram element to provide security for your bullion purchase.

History

The new Silver Cast Bar series from the Germania Mint launched early in 2021 with a 1 Kilogram release. Following that offering, the series expanded to include three more weights that include 100 Gram, 250 Gram, and 500 Gram options.
