Obverse

Reverse

In the reverse design element, the 90% Silver Barber Dime uses a unique design that separates it from the other two denominations of the Barber Coinage. This field includes a wreath surrounding the words One Dime.

History

Barber Coinage designs were used until 1916 when each was replaced by a more popular and iconic image from the United States Mint. While all three coins shared the Liberty bust on the obverse, the quarter and half dollar had a version of the heraldic eagle on the reverse, unlike these 90% Silver Barber Dimes.
