These 5 Gold Florida Goldback Notes are packaged individually in protective plastic sleeves. The notes are made from 24-karat gold and encased in durable polymer, ensuring they retain their high-quality finish for years to come.
Design
The 5 Gold Florida Goldback Notes design draws inspiration from Floridas pirate history. It features a female pirate on the deck of a ship, studying her charts. The phrase “BRAVERY CONQUERS THE UNKNOWN” is printed below, while in the background, a pirate ship with the word “AUDAX” sails. The term “audax” in Latin refers to boldness, courage, and daring, qualities synonymous with the pirates who sailed the Florida coast.
History
During the “Golden Age of Piracy” (1690-1730), Florida became a haven for pirates, including infamous figures like Black Caesar and Jos Gaspar. They would intercept Spanish treasure ships traveling between the Caribbean and Europe. The complex Florida coastline, with its hidden coves and narrow inlets, offered perfect places to hide and launch attacks.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.

"I have been doing business with Provident Metals for over a decade and normally everything is top notch. All coins are exactly as described and packed perfectly in a sturdy box. On my last order I purchased Goldbacks. I normally got them from a different vendor but since Provident Metals started carrying them I gave them a try. Unfortunately, the corners of some of them were significantly creased, and as such I would not use them as gifts to other people. They accepted a return of the four that were damaged and sent me four new ones. Alas, three of the four of these new ones were creased as well. This is definitely not a problem with their shipping box nor the plastic sleeves they came individually in, the issue most likely was created at their packing side where the notes got placed "into" the sleeve, or from the inventory itself. I expected these items to be offered in "newly minted" BU condition, imagine getting a coin that was BU to have the proper patina but also a nice scratch right through the center of the coin. Yes, this is simply an aesthetical issue, hence only one star taken off, but a bummer none the less. Quality control needs to inspect items a bit closer, particularly when dealing with a return regarding a specific issue to make sure the problem is not repeated on the replacement order. Company on the whole I still give a 5 star recommendation."

"Dissatisfied. I ordered three 5 Florida Goldback and all three of them were bent on the upper right. The protective sleeves were not bent so therefore I am guessing it is the damage by the manufactures."
