Hand-poured silver bars are different from minted ingots, which can be found from many different refineries and mints. While a minted ingot will be produced using a computer-controlled minting process, hand-poured bars are made much like they were hundreds of years ago before modern minting processes were developed.

To create bars in this manner, molten silver is poured into pre-made casts by a human, and then the silver is allowed to cool in place while it takes the shape of the cast. This process also results in a unique rustic finish that cant be immolated with computer minting processes.
