Design

The 5 oz Silver Proof Silverbug Ariana Statue features a 3D depiction of the silver fairy known affectionately as Ariana. Her figure is depicted in a kneeling stance with her elegant wings stretched out behind her back. Her hand holds out the scales she uses to measure out amounts of silver. She is depicted on a circular base with sunburst lines emanating from her tiptoes at the center out to the edges of the base.

History

The Silverbugs use a Reddit forum to share their thoughts on all things silver. Members of the community share their thoughts and excitement regarding new silver products, as well as sharing their experiences with various mints and authorized dealers of silver. The Silverbugs gained their 5,000th member in the community in May 2014, an event that led to the development of the first Ariana design on Silverbug rounds.
