The Peso Cuba Gold Coins were issued in 1915 and 1916. Though the coins were a Cuban national denomination, the national government turned to the United States Mint for the design and production of the coins. US Mint Chief Engraver Charles E. Barber designed the Jose Marti effigy that featured on all six denominations eventually issued in this series. Right now, you can buy 5 Peso Cuba Gold Coins online from Provident Metals.
