When you purchase 50 Gram Gold Square Bars online at Provident Metals, you receive a gold bar that is in brand-new condition from Geiger Edelmetalle. Each of the gold bars in this series and weight is packaged individually inside of a sealed plastic assay card capsule. The packaging includes a capsule space for the gold bar and an assay card around the capsule. The assay features Geiger Edelmetalle and Made in Germany on one side. The other side of the assay card includes the matching weight, purity, and metal content for the gold bar, as well as the signature of the certified assayer.

Obverse

On the obverse side of 50 Gram Gold Square Bars, you will find a depiction of the castle at Schloss Guldengossa. The castle was built in the Baroque style in the 18th century and was completed in 1720. The castle is located outside of Leipzig, Germany, and currently serves as the corporate headquarters of Geiger Edelmetalle. Reverse

The reverse field of the 50 Gram Gold Square Bars comes with the LEV rhombus. The common design mark of Geiger Edelmetalle, the LEV rhombus repeats across the entire reverse field of the gold bar. There is also a space on this side of the bar for the individual serial number to be inscribed. This entire field of the bar has a blue UV coating that displays an additional LEV rhombus and highlights the serial number when exposed to blue light.

History

Geiger Edelmetalle was opened in 1218 in the Saxony region of Germany. These new Geiger Square Bars have unique security elements that include the secure assay card packaging and its assay. The bars have ribbed edges around the side, high-relief strikes, a pearl finish on the obverse side of the bar, and the blue UV coating on the reverse.
