Obverse

For the obverse field of 500 Gram Silver Security Line Bars, you will find a design that focuses on the corporate headquarters. The circular element located two-thirds of the way down the bar has the image of Schloss Guldengossa, a castle built in the 18^th century that is now the corporate headquarters for Geiger Edelmetalle. Above this, inscriptions of Geiger Edelmetalle and Feinsilber 999 feature, while below is the weight of 500g.

Reverse

In the reverse design element, you will find only one repeating design on the 500 Gram Silver Security Line Bars. The repeating design element features an LEV rhombus that serves as a mark for designs on various Geiger Edelmetalle products.

History

The Security Line Series of bars from Geiger Edelmetalle were among the first in the world to incorporate physical features to secure the silver in the bar. These physical features include ribbed edges around the side of the bar, a pearl finish to the obverse field, and a textured finish to the reverse field. Each bar also comes with a security label on the bottom edge that includes a unique serial number. There is also a layer of UV paint on the reverse that offers the LEV rhombus and year of issue only when exposed to a black light.
