Security Line Silver Bars are available from Geiger Edelmetalle with no fewer than five security features in the design of the specimens. Each bar has unique finishes on the surfaces that include a pearl finish to the obverse and a textured reverse. The bars edge is ribbed similar to the reeded edge of silver bullion coins. At the bottom edge of the silver bars, you will find a serial number applied to the bar. Finally, all bars have a UV application on the reverse that displays the year of production and LEV rhombus in blue when exposed to a black light.

Obverse

On the obverse face of 5000 Gram Silver Security Line Bars is a depiction of the castle known as Schloss Guldengossa. This castle was the first registered company location for Geiger Edelmetalle and currently serves as its corporate headquarters. The castle was built outside of Leipzig in 1720 and designed with influence from Baroque architecture. The bars include inscriptions of Geiger Edelmetalle at the top with Feinsilber 999 above the Schloss design and 5000g below it.

Reverse

The reverse side of 5000 Gram Silver Security Line Bars includes a single, repeating image. Here, you will find the LEV rhombus logo repeated across the entirety of the bars surface area from left to right and top to bottom.

History

Schloss Guldengossa was built in 1720 to include a large, beautiful park on the grounds. The castle once played host to big names in Europe, including Johann Sebastian Bach, a close friend of the original owner of the castle. Geiger Edelmetalle is located in Leipzig, Germany, in the rich silver-mining region of the Saxon Mountains.
