Roman Gladiators have their place in history as incredible warriors who excelled in armed combat against other men. Carpophores, featured in the design of this bar, was known as a Bestiarius. These fierce gladiators fought against beasts versus men, in hand-to-hand combat. They quite often had short-lived careers, as a result of being pitted against some beasts that proved to be a bit too much for them.

Carpophores was renowned for his abilities and successes in hand-to-handle battles.

Obverse

The obverse of the MK Barz Hand Poured Skull Warrior Mask features the replica of the mask that was famously worn by Carpophores. As the greatest Bestiarius in all of Rome, it is said that he defeated a bear, lion, and leopard during one sole battle held inside of the Flavian Amphitheatre. In another battle that took place on that same day, it is said that he defeated a rhinoceros with just a spear.
