The Tyrannosaurus Rex is often referred to simply as the T-Rex. It is aptly named because of the idea that it was a tyrannical lizard that rules the lands that it roamed. The T-Rex roamed across North America and on the island continent that was known as Laramidia. The T-Rex has been uncovered in fossil records that date between 68 and 66 million years ago.

The magnificent T-Rex was an incredibly unique beast. It had an oversized skull on a tall body, which was all balanced out by a long and heavy tail. The powerful hind limbs of the T-Rex were much larger than the short forelimbs. While the dinosaur is most often depicted as being a ferocious apex predator, it is believed that the T-Rex may have been more of a scavenger that preyed on the kills of other predators by chasing them away with his size and intimidating roar.
