There will also be zero detracting flaws on the designs or surface area. Please note that some of these coins may have the NGC’s alternative NGCX grading scale from 1-10, with 10 representing a perfect coin similar to the MS70 grade. These coins will arrive to you in a plastic slab with a label from either NGC or PCGS. We cannot guarantee specific labels, but you could receive coins with any NGC or PCGS label. Additionally, we cannot guarantee that you will receive coins of a specific year.
Obverse
On the obverse side of every American Eagle Gold Coin, you will see the image of Lady Liberty. This image was created in 1907 by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. This design was used on the $20 Gold Double Eagle coins from 1907 until 1933. In the image, you will see Lady Liberty as she walks away from the capital to lead the country into the future.
Reverse
The reverse image of each coin showcases a family of bald eagles. One eagle is flying toward the nest as another shelters a hatchling. The image of the eagles was created by Miley Busiek in 1986.
History
