History

The America the Beautiful Quarters series was founded to celebrate the nation’s rich heritage of nature preserves and national and historical parks and monuments. The US Mint issues fifty-six such quarters between 2010 and 2021, often partnering with institutions involved with specific parks and sites in selecting artwork and designs.
