Part of the Rocky Mountains, the Teton Range is located in Wyoming, with the eastern slope stretching into the Grand Teton National Park. The Teton Range began forming millions of years ago through volcanic activity and other geological events. The highest point of the Teton Range reaches 13,770 feet.
