The latest version of the American Eagle Gold Coin introduced within the series is the Burnished American Eagle. First offered in 2006, it has been available regularly since 2011 and offers, as of that same year, only a 1 oz gold coin. Provident Metals now has Burnished American Eagle 1 oz Gold Coins available to you for purchase online in near-perfect condition.
Highlights:
When you purchase one of these Burnished American Eagle 1 oz Gold Coins online from Provident Metals, you will receive a near-perfect specimen. Coins in SP69 condition showcase full, original mint luster and come with a maximum of two minor detracting flaws. Those flaws are limited in nature to minuscule contact marks or hairlines and must be located outside the primary focal points of the coin.
Provident Metals selects your coins at random after your payment clears. Our team would like to advise you that it is possible to get coins with the same labels, dates, and reverse designs when you buy several.
Obverse
The obverse of Burnished American Eagle Gold Coins comes with a vision of Liberty. This front-facing relief was created in 1907 by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. It features Liberty with inscriptions of LIBERTY, the W mint mark of the West Point Mint, and the date.
Reverse
On the reverse side of Burnished Eagle 1 oz Gold Coins features either a family of bald eagles or the head of an American bald eagle. The Miley Busiek design features a family of eagles in their nest, while the Jennie Norris design depicts an eagles head in left-profile relef.
History
The reverse designs on these coins include either the Miley Busiek design from above on coins dated 2006-2008 and 2011-2020, or the Jennie Norris design on coins dated 2021 and later.
