The United States of America is a country defined by an immense natural heritage, a sweeping and colorful history filled with events that resonated far beyond its borders, and unique cultural heritage sites that illustrate creative genius. The America the Beautiful coin series, which was set in motion by 2008 legislation and issued its first coins in 2010, was created to celebrate all of these things in every state and territory with extraordinary silver bullion collectibles. These are the largest silver coins the U.S. Mint has ever struck, prized among collectors and investors. The Burnished ATB 50z Silver Coin is now on offer in a range of years and designs from Provident Metals.
These Burnished ATB Silver Coins come in secure plastic capsule packaging, with a government-guaranteed minimum weight of five Troy ounces struck in pure silver and showcasing a beautiful matte finish. Each shipment is fully insured against any mishap in transit by Provident Metals.
Each coin’s obverse field features John Flanagan’s profile effigy of George Washington, as originally created for and used on the 1932 Washington Quarter. This is surrounded by the inscriptions “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” “LIBERTY” and “QUARTER DOLLAR.”
A unique design inspired by a different American national site is featured on each coin’s reverse field, which also carries the state and year of issue and the inscription “E PLURIBUS UNUM.”
The genesis of the U.S. Mint’s America the Beautiful series was the runaway popularity of the 50 State Quarters Program, a decade-long initiative that honored each of the states in the form of a 90% silver coin. This program proved to be enough of a hit that it was decided to follow it up with a silver bullion range that specifically celebrated parks and historic sites in every state, territory, and federal district. America’s Beautiful National Parks Quarter Dollar Coin Act set this program in motion in 2008, and it struck five coins every year between 2010 and 2021 in releases that were hotly anticipated in numismatics.
