When you buy the Canadian Maple Leaf 1 oz Gold Coins offered in this listing, you will receive coins with a near-perfect grade from either the PCGS or the NGC. Coins with a Mint State 69 certification showcase full, original mint luster and a maximum of two minor detracting flaws. Acceptable flaws at this grade level include only minuscule contact marks or hairlines found outside the primary focal points of the coin.

The obverse field of Canadian Maple Leaf Gold Coins in this listing will feature one of three designs of Queen Elizabeth II. Coins dated 1979 to 1989 have the second-generation portrait of the Queen from Arnold Machin. Coins dated 1990 to 2002 have the third-generation design from Dora de Pedery-Hunt. Finally, all coins dated 2003 and later have the Susanna Blunt bust of Queen Elizabeth II.

On the reverse side of the Canadian Maple Leaf 1 oz Gold Coin, you will find the sugar maple leaf design from Walter Ott. Created in 1979 for this series, it has featured on the reverse of the coins in every year since the programs debut. Please keep in mind that gold purity can vary by release. The 1979 to November 1982 coins have .999 pure gold, while all coins issued after November 1982 have .9999 pure gold.

For several years, the Canadian Maple Leaf Gold Coin was only available in 1 oz gold. In 1982, 1/4 oz and 1/10 oz coins were introduced. In 1986, a 1/2 oz gold coin was introduced. 1993 saw the introduction of a 1/20 oz gold coin followed by the 1 Gram gold coin in 2014.

This is a random year, varied label listing. We do not guarantee the date mark, the presence or lack thereof of extra labels, or even the grading house that issued the MS69 grade. All coins are chosen at random. If you buy more than one, be prepared for the probability of receiving several coins with matching dates, labels, and grading house.
