History

In 1982, the Chinese Mint introduced the Chinese Panda Gold bullion coin series. That year, the coins debuted with 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz coins. The 1/10 oz coin was the smallest in the series, but only for that one year in 1982 as the 1983 release included a 1/20 oz gold coin. From 1982 to 2015, the 1/10 oz gold coin was available and then became the Chinese Panda 3 Gram Gold Coin in 2016 following the transition from Troy oz to Grams.
