Obverse

Obverse imagery on the Chinese Panda 8 Gram Gold Coin is the same every year. The Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests is depicted on this side of the coin and has been every year dating back to the 1982 debut of this weight. The Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests is the largest structure in the Temple of Heaven Complex and was built between 1406 and 1420.

Reverse

Reverse design elements of the Chinese Panda 8 Gram Gold Coin change with each new date mark. The Giant Panda species is always featured on this side, but it is captured in a different relief each year. This gives the bullion coin a slight air of collectability as designs offered one year and not typically repeated by the mint in the future.
