The Egyptian queen appears on the obverse in the traditional style of the time- her profile being prominently featured. Hieroglyphics spell her name, encased in an oval, indicating her royalty. A finely detailed pyramid on the reverse sits behind the goddess, Isis, of whom Cleopatra was said to be the reincarnation.
The Egyptian Gods series features gods and goddesses from Ancient Egyptian mythos. One of the gods, Horus, is seen on the label. Next to his bird form is the serial number of the medallion, along with the NGC grade- MS69.
